Press Release Summary: MindTouch reinvents wikis by fusing collaboration, composite
applications, and data mashups with a new online hosted site for enterprise
workgroups and teams

Press Release Body: MIX 08, LAS VEGAS, March 5, 2008 - MindTouch, developer of Deki
Wiki, the open source collaboration platform, announced a major update to Deki Wiki
that brings support for Microsoft Silverlight, Microsoft ADO.NET Data Services
(code-named "Astoria"), and new Windows Live services to enterprise wiki users and
mashup makers. Also, in time for MIX08, MindTouch introduced Wik.is
(http://wik.is), a new free online-hosted offering of Deki Wiki for enterprise
teams, workgroups, and power users.

MindTouch has added an easy to use mashup code generator to Deki Wiki that makes it
point-and-click simple to create composite applications and data mashups by
connecting services from Microsoft, Yahoo!, and other vendors with enterprise
applications and databases. With the new support for Microsoft ADO.NET Data
Services, users can embed and visualize data from any data source either online or
behind their firewall, creating dynamic, real-time reports of critical business
information.

Also new to Deki Wiki is user presence and instant messaging, a staple of enterprise
collaboration. Using Microsoft\'s new Windows Live Messenger library, Deki Wiki
mashups can take advantage of user presence and instant messaging to bring real-time
collaboration around dynamic information to a new level. With the addition of
support for Silverlight, Deki Wiki users can create compelling new experiences right
inside their wiki without requiring additional tools.

This suite of new features is available at MindTouch Wik.is, the hosted version of
Deki Wiki, which is open to the general public for the first time. This innovative
service offers an unparalleled user experience, a complete REST API that exposes the
platform\'s entire functionality, automatic data aggregation tools, and rich mashup
capabilities to over 100 services from Microsoft, Google, Yahoo!, and other vendors.

Site registration at Wik.is takes seconds and instantly creates a new Deki Wiki site
for authoring and sharing content. This service is ideal for enterprise teams,
workgroups, and power users who need a highly usable and functional online tool for
sharing information, creating dynamic reports, and building powerful mashups.

Wik.is is free with 100MB of storage, unlimited users, unlimited pages, unlimited
access to the API, and, most importantly, without advertising! A "Pro" upgrade is
available for $99 a year and unlocks 10GB of storage and full site customization.

Speaking at MIX08 MindTouch Founder and CEO, Aaron Fulkerson, will explore the
opportunities and challenges created by mashing up the Web and the enterprise. Deki
Wiki is the only collaboration platform that makes it easy to create mashups with
Web services, widgets, legacy systems, and other Web 2.0 applications on the Web or
behind the firewall.
